I like Stock-Coke (use to be very popular on balkan) and Orange Juice- Vodka.
Beers are fine as long as they are not made in US (that's of course just a joke ), and I like different wines, but mostly with fish. :bye: |

It seems this thread lacks a portuguese contribution. After all, there is only one other people that makes wine as good as us, the french.
From the famous Port wines,to the wines of Bairrada and D?o and so many others where pretty much well served of red whine, white whine, green whine...resuming any whine. As for beer, we have two national beers with many international prizes, Superbock and Sagres. I also like german and belgium beer, they are like the portuguese one's . A word of warning, beware of the spanish beers :not_ok: I also like vodka, martini, bacardi, safari, malibu and a few whiskys. Least but not last who doesnt like "shots". Ah, if it wasn't for the Germans who drink beer a liter at a time no one would beat the Portuguese when it comes to consuming alcoholic drinks in quantity and quality. Heck, a few years ago we managed to beat even the germans  Neverthless, a few words of warning, don't drink and drive, try not to become addicted and what's the fun in drinking if you can't stop and if you can't remenber what you did last night  |

I greatly enjoy several red wines, and especially cabernet sauvignon ones as I prefer my wine to have a bit more character in it than what for example syrah and pinot have got to offer. My favourite wine isn't cabernet, though - it's the Portuguese Dom Dinis reserva tinto by Caves Vidigal that really blew my mind with its strong, spicy flavour.
As far as beer is concerned, I don't mind it. It works as a socialising drink, but that's about it. I've found the Finnish beer quite inferior to for example the Polish ones (Zywiec and Tyskie especially), and that's why I don't drink it all that much over here. Pilsner Urguell is a fine substitute when available, though. Guinness and other dark ales are fine, but only when it's the proper stuff - for example the Guinness you can buy from the local department stores and pubs here tastes very much like water with yeast in. Vodka is good, but I can't understand why some people insist on mixing it with orange juice - in my opinion that spoils both the vodka and the juice. Zubrówka, Chopin and Finlandia are my brands of choice.

I sometimes mix my captain morgan with coke, though. |
