It's not everything, it's just these two.

I've downloaded like a hundred games, and only these two cannot be downloaded.

I've tried from 4 different computers (public too), each and every reports the very same error. Should I continue trying on others?

I am running Fable on Vista with the latest DOSBox but I cant hear any speech - just sound effects.

Any help would be appreciated.

But I've met one issue. There's no speech in this game, right?

BUT there also aren't any subtitles - all I can do is read myself, picking my own words to say.

How to solve this problem and is this normal?

I've just started to play this game and had some questions about the sound and speech and they were all answered by reading through most of the previous posts like your supposed to do before asking the same questions over and over and by reading the notes by Tom Henrik who reviewed the game but, I thought I would mention this as I see some people still asking the same questions.

This game has been ripped so there is no speech and no music but there are some environmental sounds like water and bells, this has been done to keep the file size down, the full game size is around 240MB.
If you want the full game it can still be found on ebay and I'm just going to buy this copy cause I collect games and like to have the originals although I can't play them as I don't have a floopy drive or Dos which is why Abandonia and Dosbox RULE Fable on ebay
