I played this on the NES when I was younger, then an 'enhanced port' of the original MSX version on the PS2 since MG1 and 2 were included with MGS3:Subsistence.

I think they were good for the time they came out, can't speak for the DOS version since I don't know how much it differs from the others.

I've played this on a playstation2 and is not bad at all. If you're a fan of the mgs series you have to play this game.

Haha I remember I played this game on NES (^^,)
Indeed, this game is terrible compared to metal gear solid. Still, brings back epic memories... such as:
"I feel asleep!!" or "Uh oh! The truck have started to move!!"

I've remembered this game on the NES and MSX, but this PC port looks terrible. But still it is one of my favorite games.

I love the Metal Gear series, but this game seems a little odd to me and that's not because of the graphics and such.

Most of the areas are repeating over and over again, so you'll end up running in circles. I don't get the controls either. Arrow-keys for moving, return for punching and all the other keys bring me to the menu, where you can select the inventory, the radio and such.

Aren't there any more things to do than running and punching?

I really want to give this game a try, but i don't even know what to do first. Where should i go at first?
