I know this game is an extreme classic and is worth mentioning on the site and all... But am I the only one to think that anybody giving out more than 2 for this game is totaly crazy?
C'mon now... All you can do in that game is go left and right and shoot... Wow... I'm so thrilled... :blink: |

I think this is the father of all games ! (the mother is "Pong")
But I think you have be a bit older and computer-freakier to love and to know how to appreciate this game. When you startet with "Pong" and loved it 30 years ago then "Space Invaders" is THE game. But if your first game was Spliter Cell on a Playstation you probably can't even get a hint of what this game was and IS. I love it! And I always have to think of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" with the Space Invaders episode. Space-Invaders-Alien-Quote: "Yeah funny. I love your third dimension."  cheers, swiss |

whooops - so actually we've got a game from 1977? shame upon me :angel:
*goes and edit the news* c'mon, eagle, the rating is not only to court great grafix and sound in games, but also - in this case - to give consideration to a special status. and SI definitely has a special status!  |

Wow, now this seriously rocks! I feel like ive cheated on a girlfriend by not expecting this game to pop up on 'ere. Shame on me! Heh, I'd download it, but this game is on my watch/cellphone/Palmpilot/Computer/cheap black and white handheld from aunt and probabally somewhere coded inside the wires of my microwave!
