It's easy to save!
Just click on the piece of paper (right under the crystal ball) the second icon whenever you see the map of Englande. This one:  |

:help: If I run this normally all the fightscenes and cutscenes run mega fast, in dosbox it's all mega slow

Did you try using CTRL+F12 in Dosbox when the game's running? It should speed things up.
