Sun virtualBox
Has anyone tried out Sun VirtualBox?
http://www.virtualbox.org Been using it for a few weeks and runs perfectly. Supports most operating systems dos, windows etc, and is really stable. Seems to be the best virtual machine i've ever used.

It's awesome. Probably one of the best VMs out there.

Neat - Thanks Donk!
Sun Microsystems ftw. btw - if you want to write an article on the different VM's and GUI's for old-school gaming (like ScummVM, D-Fend et Norton Commander and stuff) then that'd be good. |

I don't know how it's now with the latest version, -(and too lazy to look it up, lazy moi)- , but last time I tried virtualbox it was hell to get shared folders and LAN (and internet conn) working on a Dos guest, and same thing for W95/98, no real support.
So I gonna ask you, how's the MsDos and W9X VMaddition support nowadays in virtualbox?

Yes, I tried and used it for a couple of years now, even back when it was owned by Innotek before Sun purchased it. I have never tried it with DOS though, usually I just use it to try out Linux distros. It is free (open source version is also available, but I usually just use the free version).

The version i've been using is free although you obviously should have a licence for the operating system installed into the box.
