Hello All,
I have an old program called "PIEGCS", at one point in time it was a very famous FPS Creator. Now it is hardly even heard of... the company folded and fan sites dropped out. They were creating a new version just before they went under, but no one seems to have it. I have version 1.2 w/ 1.3 patch for XP which was only released on an old CD I have. Anyhow, if anyone wishes to discuss it i.e. prove the abandonware, or download it. You can do so here. :w00t:

Mediafire Download URL:
http://www.mediafire.com/?8x3ye9ssm5h <<Clicky to download

ED2K Download:
Code:
ed2k://|file|(PIEGCS.FULL.1.2.with.1.3.Patch.for.XP)PieGameCreationSystem_FPS-Creator-ABANDONWARE.zip|3896289|C395D76CE2DE77D18BB63CD4208925B6|/
Main Fan Site (Archived):

Pie In The Sky Software is also archived, but not worth much as all links are pretty much dead...

Edit: Topic updated with download link. :w00t:

Please don't give an e-donkey link. If this is truly abandonware... download it and upload it via a direct HTTP link. thanks

I fail to see any problem with ED2K links.

There is ONLY a problem with them if there are NO SOURCES.

Shareaza = not KAD compatibile = bad

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compari...onkey_software
Pick a client that is KAD-compatibile. There has been a major shake-up in the eDonkey network recently, with several of the major servers going down as a result... On the other hand, make that most of the major servers.

ED2K clients use only servers to search for files and sources. KAD-compatibile ones also benefit from the serverless Kademlia network which makes finding sources and shared files much easier.

My advice: get a second P2P program that is KAD compatibile or dump Shareaza altogether.
