I've mounted and successfully played a number of old KOEI games on DOSBOX, but cannot get HANNIBAL to function.
I'm using XP, with which it is supposed to be compatable, but get a Runtime error 003 at 00AF:02A6.
Any suggestions?

i don't know how you managed to do that, i just ran hannibal off clean unpack

mount c d:\games\hannibal
c:\
cd hannibal
han.bat

i really have absolutely no idea what could have you done in order to get a runtime error in dosbox

I wiped everything and redownloaded and remounted. I still get the game producer's logo followed by the error rating.

and which version of dosbox are you running?

The HANSOUND.EXE would have to be larger than 10MB to address that address.

I am running the latest version.

Where did you download it?

so it's probable that he got the version elsewhere/mixed it with something=S
