Discuss it here.

The Eu is a great idea in my opinion. I definitely disagree with the right-wing free market concept and am pleased it has died (for good hopefully).

You should have added more options.
My personal opinion is, a noble and good idea but a terrible selfserving execution of the idea. I think it will eventually fail, or lower its aim. Somewhere along the line it's members got deluded with false delusions of grandeur and strayed from what it was supposed to be.

There is no 'I don't care' idea.

I don't know much about proposed constitution, so I will not answer poll untill I know more.

Sadly, neither did quite a few politicians that supported it.

blastradius14,
you wrong if you think that situation in EU does not affect us in USA.

stroggy,
I like history, and I am really wondering why proposal did not work. Speaking of history and Europe, a small off topic. How and why did Germany grow so strong after the WWII, after it was completelly destroyed?

"Marshals plan":ermany reiceved a special anti communtis pack (as did amy other counties, but germany was an important simol, beacuse it was devided), plus it has coal and ore, you can't fail if you have them.

back on topic, I belive that EU was a great Idea on paper, but like some other famous union this one failed most poples expectations.

I haven't been in EU since 1995, and at that time there was no Euro, so I can't tell much about EU. But whole idea was nice, and according to studies, only strong union of countries will survive ecconomical changes made by China.

[off topic]As for Marshal's plan, real reason for its existance was not to repeate mistake made after WWI. Bad economic situation helped Hitler to come to power.[/off topic]
