Yes, although I already managed that far. :P The problem is in the forum. Either if I delete the forum avatar in the control panel, or if I upload a new one, the first avatar I used still appears.

Oh well I can take it.

It f***ing happened again! I updated my personal info again and now I've lost som 870 pieces of eight!!! In addition, I added War Diary as a favorite but got Last Half of Darkness instaid?! Man this new site sucks.. give me my money back :notrust:

Thanks anyway, because even though I could change the site avatar before, now it was complaining that my image was not an image (and yes it wasn't too big, just the same you uploaded for me). So at least now I have what should be in the site profile. I'm not touching that.

As for the vBulletin control panel, it does let me change the avatar (last time I tried), only it has no effect and my posts still show an old version. :/

New avatar has to be in the same format as the old one, otherwise the site won't update it correctly.

That's a problem, because what I wanted was basically adding transparency, and I can't with a PNG (can I?).

Thanks anyway, I may opt for using a background colour instead of real transparency.

GIMP doesn't have any difficulties with saving PNG files with a transparency channel.
