Anyone know how to make this one work?
It just keep asking for CD no matter what I do.
I tried compatibility, burning to CD, nothing helps.

Shipwreckers.cue file is wrong.
Open shipwreckers.cue with notepad and alter the first line to:
FILE \SHIPWRECKERS.BIN BINARY

Alter only the first line, don't alter or delete the other lines !!!

Will work now.
BTW, if you burned the CD pointing to the borked shipwreckers.cue great chances you end up with a frisbee.

[Edit]
BTW, pretty funny game, runs fine on my older XP SP3 compy, can even run it full screen in 1920x1080.
Not bad at all for a game from 1997!
<- click

THX for uploading Ermuli.

Maybe a bit more explaining for the absolute beginners:
Unzip Shipwreckers.bin ànd Shipwreckers.cue in the same folder.
Open Shipwreckers.cue with notepad.
Alter the first line to FILE \SHIPWRECKERS.BIN BINARY
Save and exit.
If you mount the image in a virtual drive point to Shipwreckers.cue
If you burn the CD point to Shipwreckers.cue
Advisable is mounting in a virtual drive, as the music stays on the CD, plenty CD accessing is done ingame.
Do NOT convert the image to ISO, it's a mixed mode CD, means that the music tracks are separate, not included in the data track!

Bobson sent me 40MB rip, so I'll just play that, but thanks for the explanation anyway, I'm sure it will help someone else one day.
Btw. I see you two have never wrote a review for ab, if you like this game, maybe you should.

EDIT:
Bobson's rip don't work after Region 2, Regions 3-5 are unplayable either through password use nor through regular play, save/load.
So, I downloaded the whole Bin/Cue thing again and did everything that Dosrider mentioned and now I'm back to "CD is missing" error.
I give up.

Try again, the image is valid if you follow my instructions, you probably made some tipoz.

Also check if the file names are ok (no shipwreckers.cue.txt or whatever).

[Edit]
Uploaded the valid cue file.

As you can see there are 31 separate music tracks:

Try again, it works fine.

ME-NOT-IDIOT, MISTER.

When there is a "bla bla quide for dummies" I follow instructions like a dummy should, so I did everything exactly like Dosraider said, and still no cigaaar.
If this is work of Gremlins or whatever, it doesn't matter now, I just hope that some day there will be some nice rip and review on our site.

Last attempt: uninstall/re-install game???

Just to say, have installed the game from the AB image with the adapted cue file on 5 PCs till now, (own-kids-friends) ranging from W98Se - XPsp3, works flawless.
On the W98SE PC used the burned CD (burned with ImgBurn, pointing to the cue file, of course)
On the XP PCs used MagicDisk virtual CD drive, also pointing to the cue file.
No problems.
Except on one of the oldest W98SE pc without 3D vidcard, game doesn't want to run on an older S3 1MB Virge.

So it's pretty clear something went completely wrong on your end, but I have no idea what exactly, sorry for that.

Maybe start over from scratch? Don't really know ....

Could someone else try the game please? It's not a big download.

About reviewing the game: I wrote enough reviews (150-200-300...? probably even a lot more) in my time, the youth may take over now.
