Voted Win98 (SE), although it's a pain in the behind with Plug'n Play... and various other things, but at least it's not so bloated that it uses half your resources to put a sniffing dog when you want to search for a file on your disk, or uses resources for sliding buttons to the left on the Start-bar when you close something.

Yes i much agree Windows 98 has it's problems but at least it don't waste all your ram and processing power or rubbish things like XP does

I'm using WinXP professional (SP1, of course!).
Even if it waste too much processing-power for useless things, seems to be the more stable Windows-something OS, in my experience! |

what should I vote...
at home; 1 windows XP machine 1 Redhat AS3 linux machine at work; 1 windows XP notebook 1 debian sarge linux machine ... it's a tie or should i also count the servers 4 windows 2003 enterprise / windows 2000 advanced servers (x86) 13 Redhat Linux 2.1/3 AS servers (x86) 4 IBM AIX servers (RISC/6000) 3 SUN solaris servers (SPARC) 1 cobalt RAQ3 (MiPS) |
