I wanted to get this game so badly, that after scouring the net to no result, I finally went and got it via P2P. It was long, but with some patience I finally got the archive.

First, obtaning a CD recording software to record from .CUE images was a pain to me... I was completely outta any luck, but finally a friend of mine happened to have a newer version of Nero Express which did the trick.

Game is pretty small by itself in size terms (max install = 157 MB), but this is remedied by the music being in Audio-CD formatt. Great.

Installation began flawlessly, when all of a sudden the InstallShield crashed. Quick exploration of CD content and setting the compatibility tab of Setup.exe to Windows 95 compatibility mode was all that was needed and after re-run it proceeded perfectly.

Now, I run the ****ing thing and it throws me back to the desktop. ****** ******* ********. I tried compatibility modes and everything. Titanium Trilogy is supposed to have been modified to properly support DirectX and work under MS Windoze. How am I supposed to make the damn thing run???

PS. Similar issues occur with Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate.

I feel your pain. My ladyfriend recently gave me her old copy of Mechwarrior 2 because she knows I love the series, and sure enough no matter what I do it would run in XP.

Moral of the story? Never trust an OS that is named like a smiley face...
