Why 2 sports games like Championship manager and Ultimate soccer manager are in Simulation, if they are sports games? :blink:

Bundesliga is a manager game and it is in the Sports, and this games i think are more correct in sports, and not in the simulation.....

You don't actually play the sports, but manage the teams, so it's a management simulation, not a sports game. In sports games, you play sports. Bundesliga's the one in the wrong section

no, sorry Kon-Tiki, the games theme is sports, in simulation are games like planes simulation, trains simulation: other game that i think is wrong: Pizza Tycoon is not Simulation.........

Pizza tycoon is at the right place. Simulation is not restricted to several few themes, it's about anything that is simulated.

For example, the Sims would fall under Simulation too, not strategy game. Xcom is a strategy game because more than 50% of the game fall under the tactical phase, so it's not a simulation game even tough there is the Geoscape mode.

Diablo 2 would be an action game, or a "dungeon crawler" game. Not a RPG.

Yes, you have a right point of view, but returning to the first ask, if you want to find a sport manager game, you will try to find in sports or in a simulaton topic? I think it is easy to understand.....

Why simulation if they are sports games, if you try to find one game in the internet if you try to find a sports manager game, you will find almost all places in the section of sport......because the subject of the games are sports... :crazy:

Yeah, but the STYLE is simulation - it simulates managing a team, not playing a particular sport. I'm with Eagle; Tycoon games and other management sims (incl. sports managers) are simulations.
