That screenshot's from somewhere near a blockade. Haven't played that game in ages, but I know I'm stuck there, as I need to push carts and use them as trampolenes to get by a gate that's blocked by guards, so I can continue traveling. Thing is... I can't get the carts right there. Anyways, that's where it is. Fairly past mid-way the game... when collecting all dragons.

I think remember that part. I probably stopped playing not too long after that part. Are there hay stacks all around that area too?

Dunno for sure, but knowing the surroundings, I wouldn't be surprised. It's typical for such a village in the BoF series
