Great - it gets more and more Malory Towers every time. There's an interview with her on ITV tomorrow evening conducted by a 14-year-old kid. Maybe he'll ask some better questions than Paxman did that time...

He'd better. It's the only interview she has agreed to, isn't it?

Edit: Before anybody puts me down as a raving Harry Potter fan: I work in a bookshop, which is why I read it (so the others needn't bother), and which is why I read it yesterday before it was officially out.

Well I got it. Haven't read it, it's sitting here on top of my monitor. Looks good though, nice and thick, and I didn't even buy it! No I didn't steal it, a friend of mine bought it for me. Complete suprise!

My sister has a crush on Harry, so we got the book as soon as it came out.
In that case she'll be delighted with this one: Harry gets a girlfriend, Ron accidentally swallows a love potion, and there's rather a lot of snogging on the corridors of Hogwarts... [/b][/quote]
Please put spoiler warnings

I got my copy... wasn't really that bothered about getting it ASAP but my mum had the money and picked it up when she went shopping for food.

Good Books.Good Read. Too Much Hype.

I've read all the books, like them loads but the way some people dedicate their lives to them seems somewhat sad to me.

Also, anybody that HATES not dislikes but HATES Harry Potter please let me know if you like Halo.. im curious about the mental construction of such people. :eeeeeh:

Anyway, back to reading.

That wasn't a real spoiler, was it? Don't worry, Magic, I'm not going to tell you who dies this time.

Well my mum bought it the day it came out, I didn't think she would have though. But anyway I just finished it and it was a very good book, a lot better than what I remember the previous two to be. But of course I couldn't even remember what a Death Eater was when I started reading this one, so I don't think it's safe to go by what I remember of them.

But I got the sense that this book was more of an adult/mid teenager book when reading it, I'm thinking 16 years and up.

And I think the next one will be a quite long one too. Seems quite a lot has to happen in it.

I like the books, can't help it but they are over hyped. There not that good. Havn't bought the new one yet. Guess I'll pick up a copy next time I get into town

I would agree.. the books seem to grow as Harry does

Each books becomes increasingly darker.... plus you say its for 16+ Harry is portrayed as 16 in this book.. w00t!
