So, I had this fantastic sequel to Alien Carnage (aka Halloween Harry) on my old hardware and it ran fine under Windows 95 and then 98. Now I have a new comp and XP. Game runs, but the graphics aint working. I tried to launch it in compatibility modes with 95 and 98, but no-go.

you need a program such as DOSBox, or one similar. It is capable of emualating the old DOS, uh...OS.

Many of the games here have a note under their Compatibility: section, that mentions the need for DOSBox.

Yeah, but ZW runs only under Windows... that's the catch.

I have had similar graphical problems while trying to play Sanitarium...and I still haven't been able to get it working. Some games just won't run

May I suggest you create a shortcut of the file you wish to run, then go into the properties and change the compatibility to Win95 or 98? As strange as it sounds, it may just solve your problem. Worth a try.

pay attention to the first post Eagle. as for the gfx problems, it may be a problem with your gfx drivers so i'd advise checking for updated drivers. also check on www.ntcompatible.com to see if the game is supported properly on xp
