Unhappy

Another sad news for the people of planet Earth, especially those into motorsports.

Colin McRea died yesterday (Satruday) in a helicopter accident.
The 1995 rally world champion was known to be a good pilot, but yesterday he crashed near his house in Jerwiswood. He, his 5 y.o. son Johnny and two friends died in the flames. The rescue team was too late to help them. Colin was only 39 years old.

Colin McRea was not only the master of world rally championships and other race events, but was the name for the Colin McRea Rally series for PC. Rest In Peace.

I personally don't mind the cruel jokes, but all in due time. I mean if it's simply a cruel joke that could be used with anybody then it's tasteless, but if it's really possible to apply to the dead celebrity - well, OK, but not as making fun of the person. Just pointing out the irony of the situation (like with Princess Di... there was a joke that was possible just in that case and wouldn't work with any other celebrities then Diana and Dody - or what his name was).

Anyway - R.I.P. Collin.

I don't care about it at all. I rarely do when a celebrity dies. I never knew the man (or celebrity) and the only reason I know he is dead is because he was a celebrity.

All the grief that pours out when one of them dies just amazes me. I prefer to grieve about family or people that I actually know.
