Someone sent us this message through the contact form:

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars seems to have fallen into the abondonware
category.
The developer Splash Damage claims that they have no right over
the game, and refer us to Activision.
Activision denies ownership of the
game and directs any questions about ownership and support to Bethesda.
Bethesda denies ownership and directs all question about support back to
Activision.
Support for the game was recently dropped entirely, and the
authentication servers were shut down.
