I'm wondering what program(s) to use to take screenshots in DOS... I remember trying various different ones... which I could never get to work... =/

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hmm, pressing "Print" and then pasting the whole thing into Paint Shop Pro works quite well for me.

Edit:
Ah, crap, ignore my post, thought you were talking of DOSBox, sorry :tai:

Thanks so much...

I was able to take screencaps of URM after you give him the strawberries for the first time and he cries a single tear.

NOW TO ANIMATE.

So you ARE talking of DosBOX :tai:
If you want to animate, get AnimGet, start it, klick "Capture", then switch to your DOSBox window and let the animation play. You now should have a lot of pics. Make a *.gif out of it with a program of your choice (don't know any, google for it).

Edit:
There may be better methods, but that is how I would do it.

In actual DOS, there is also a program called ScreenThief. Older versions used to be freeware, you might still find one. Has multiple output formats and definable config settings (IE you put in a one-word parameter that denotes a given setup in the config file - and on it goes)
