I've heard the original Farscape was made in Australia with some Australian actors...? I recognized at least one. I think the set up was something like the Zena and Hercules shows that were made in N.Zealand but with a U.S. production team.

It's a sci-fi show.

It's the best Sci Fi show ever made. It was made in Australia yes (Sidney I think). Most of the cast is Australian except for Chriton who is American (but despite that he does very well).

The show has the best bad guy ever invented, Scorpious. Okay the name is horrible but he is acted out very well indeed.
I recommend everyone to watch it.

What's the plot?

The plot is.... complicated. It starts of simple as Chriton and the rest of the crew try to get their respective homes. Then all sorts of plot lines develop. A love thing with Chriton and Aeron, Wormholes, a pregnant leviathan, A vengefull Commander, Scarran Sebacian war and intrigue after intrigue. That is one reason this is such a great show. The plot is the opposite of flimsy and it only gets better as the show moves on.
