I played thise first when it was released for free about a year ago and sadly cannot say I liked it at all. Clumsy controls, sloppy graphics and if you do not have a photographic memory you will not find your way around the city and lose many of your missions. Even after playing this for a few hours straight I could not enjoy it at all.

well
this was more annoying than I thought... perhaps I was thinking of the second GTA :? because this is quite terrible.
The controls are quite difficult to master

Navigation irritated me when I first played this, and firing from a birds eye view is quite difficult.

Well, to be quite frank I really loved this game when it came out. It was a breathe from the happy and good-hearted games that came out in that period. Pure evil in essence, but, as you already mentioned, not as playable.

Ofcourse the sequels turned out to be much better, but the bricks for that foundation are laid right here.

Joy to the world, GTA has come  !

Difficult to master controls??? how so all you do is use the arrow keys

i love this game its great and i always found it increadbly simple, navigation is a total prick but the game came with several large maps that made navagation no worries

i cant beleve there isnt more of a better response

Yeah. I love this game. And I can't understand why people are having problems with it. The only place you need to "photograph" in your memory is the bridge. With that one down, you shouldn't have any problems getting around.

I mean... there is an arrow pointing you in the direction you are supposed to go.

well obviously most people do have problems with the controls.
difficult to explain exactly what happens, but I think we're used to different game controls
