I'm confused. ... When are these restrictions null and void? And is this according to international copyright law? And are you actually speaking English? Aargh. Law student, right?

Technically, he's correct.
That doesn't mean you can't practically do that.

well I played this one now and have to say its not as good as it was when I played it the first time in 1996. But still fascinating and over all measures: disorientating

Question

Hi! This is a great game, I want a new version, like Descent 2010

You must take a few minutes to configure keys and mouse and then is easy to control your ship.

I´m in Mission 2, Where is the Exit? I can´t find it.

I destroy the reactor and then die

o boy i wonder how are you going to handle the latter levels if you can't find exit in the second one

by the way, you can always turn map on by pressing tab

OK.

I believed that you must return all the way back to escape

Now I know the exit is a secret tunnel that appears after the reactor is destroyed.

I tried this game out recently, and it's really cool (When it first came out, I was more into the regular Doom-like FPS, so I didn't find the idea of Descent all that exciting back then). It's perfectly playable with the standard WASD keyboard-mouse combo (which has to be configured first though), and it's relatively easy not to lose the sense of top and bottom once you familiarize yourself with controls. Navigating the mines is a bit more difficult though, and the automap sometimes isn't as helpful as could be desired. But the game is a lot of fun to play nonetheless. Oh, and I love the music, gives a great nostalgic feel

I always enjoyed Descent. One strange thing in this game is that at some point of the game, music suddenly stops playing like there is just no music track associated for certain levels. I find that very strange and I'm quite sure my hardware is or was OK.
