woohoo! I finally got onto the second form of the sorceress....and got caned, I was so close to I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I'm slowly buying up all the wussiness potions...it seems to work

It gives you stats and meat. It's a reward from a quest, did you think it would do anything bad?

Does it not also give you part of the belt?
Or did that come seperate to the chest? |

Serparate. The item is the skull of the bonerdagon, which you can combine with the batskin belt to make a badass belt (which is one thing I plan to collect over acsensions).
