It's ridiculous, how the US prates about terrorism and takes away personal freedoms; cries about intolerance and forces foreigners to carry their passbooks or face arrest; moans about foreign interests but gives the Saudi Ambassador a presidential bodyguard; shouts loudly about danger to the State and leads the fight against free speech.
The sad part is that they've so dumbed down their educational system that their electorate stands their nodding peacefully along to everything they say. Don't they realise the power they're giving to their politicians by letting them think for them? Before we know it, they'll have banned Animal Farm and 1984 for being aggressively anti-government and cryptocommunist. Who will be the next MacCarthy, I wonder?
