Still, the story was way more logical.Freeman didn't see those aliens so howcome the marine did? cool weapons though.
And i like the ending. Wasn't "kill the boss and it will all be over". very much the task of security guy. and the best part is in beginning where you actually get teh same scene from different perspective. too bad there isn't more of those in both.

Because Shepard went into TOTALLY different areas, didn't you notice that when you went into areas Freeman did that you didn't find any of the new monsters?

*Taps foot while waiting in the middle of Half-Life knowledgables*
So then, I take it that HL is violent enough to satisfy my sadistic needs to kill? Also, will Counter Strike work over a 28.8k connection?

Not really. Blue Shift was way too short and didn't offer any new weapons or enemies like Opposing Force did.
because good games are all about new weapons and enemies. <_< yes it was short, but it had better and more compact story, and it didn't feel like replaying the same game, just with different enemies and weapons. Plus OF had that stupid "OK, this is it!, time to kill the boss" ending.

Well, I bought Half-Life: Anthology...and in buying it, I also seem to have bought a severe pain-in-the-neck!
I've installed this game twice, and whenever I try to run it, it goes into full-screen and displays the main character (don't know his name) holding a gun and it says "Half-Life" in the lower left hand corner, but it then reverts back to the desktop and everything's zoomed in and I can't open minimized windows! :wallbash: I was really looking forward to playing this game, but now I just wish I could wrap my hands around Valve's chief programmer's neck and squeeze! >

to get out of "zoomed in" mode right click on your desktop, go to properites->settings and set the res back.

We kind of told you not to buy Anthology, you probably just spent a load of money on stuff you could have gotten for free.
Try to reinstall it and it will work fine, the original Half-Life had a ton of video compatibility errors.
