In other words, a game you bought and can with clean conscience say you didn't regret a single cent of its price.
For me... Unreal Tournament 2004. Great gameplay, great graphics, awesome music. The gameplay drags in like quicksands, and it's both hard enough to give a challenge and easy enough to not cause unnessecary frustration. I've beaten all the ladders except CTF one (just one match to achieve that, though), and that's on Expert. Enjoyed every second of the game played thus far. Fave elements: Assault map Convoy on Expert Bots (11 bots evenly divided between the teams) and 5 minute time limit Morpheus 3 Team DM map InstaGib Team Deathmatches Assault map on Skaarj Mothership And the big plus is that my FPS skills began growing expotentially in the last few days... not that I sucked at this kind of games, not at all, just that I didn't really use what I had to the full extent. Now, where did I put my Quake 1 config file? Time to make some adjustments to it... |

Havent bought any games lately. Although I am sort of thinking about buying Call of Duty Deluxe edition. I wanted to buy CoD 2 but after reading some reviews I found out that it was more or less like its predecessor.
Oh, and Horseman, you might want to check out the mod for UT2004 called Red Orchestra if you havent already done that. It should be very good. k: |

Man, do I feel guilty about this-- Microsoft Crimson Skies.
Yes, it is a product of the evil empire, but I purchased it at a deep discount. Along with a great shoot-em-up game with an aerial theme, you get a half-hour radio play that is not half bad. The flight simulation is apalling, but accurate flight characteristics would take away much of the fun. I bought it, because it was based on a boardgame that I own, but could never find anyone else to play with(my wife prefers simpler games like the crayon rail games, or more involved games like AH Advanced Civilization [not to be confused with the computer game of the same name]). Aside from it supporting Microsoft (which has nothing to do with its play value), it was my favorite game purchase, after Master of Orion. |

Although I didn't buy the game it would most certainly be worth the money. I did buy 2003 though and that is just as great for the same reason. Anyway last game for me would be Star Wars Battlefront. The hard setting actually makes some maps near impossible, which gives the game a lot of replay value, which is essential for such a game. Unfortunately my brother bought Battlefront 2 before I could. |

All purchases were good cant realy say what was the best one. Im staying loyal to my games by not saying or thinking with one was the best. They have feelings to you know!!
Anyway the games that I played the most in meaning of time are AOT:Tactical Ops and Age of Empire, C&C is a close thirt. |

Well my favourite purchase would be Smash bros melee, because I leached so many great hours out of it and still play it now.
But recently... rebuying a N64 and all my favourite games for an absolute steal! under $100 AU for everything imaginable! |

I haven't get any games in last two months because of some personal problems. I might check local EB store this weekend. |
