The tribes we have on AR has vehicles, and there is a mod (renegades ?) which adds more weapons and vehicles.

This might solve any pains earlier. Does it work on XP? Service Pack 2...

If it works on Win98 SE I'm pretty sure it works on XP. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Works on XP just fine. Heck, it runs just great.
Well, seems Im gonna be hosting, according to Abi. I'll be avaliable on sunday, from when I wake up (10 am GMT) 'till later (11pm GMT) so, whenever. Saturday, the evening. Today, until 7pm.

Well which Service Pack do you have?
That can make a huge difference sometimes (Some games are compatible with Service Pack 1, other just won't work at all with 2).

I believe its sp2.
Tribes is basically made for windows very well, I can't seem to crash it.

Tribal news report: I managed to make a server which Danny could see, but he didn't manage to make a server which I could see. I'm making a screenshot of my setting now for Danny or anyone else interested in hosting.
I and Danny managed to play on my server using the following settings for the network  Danny, are you sure this are your setting ? I cannot host because my computer is weak, but Danny can. Odd, I can't see his server. Neither can the people on the tribes irc channel. (click on the image to make it bigger) |
