Yes, but more people are liekly to play it if they don't have to buy it first, coupled with a week's/month's free trial they could attract even more people and give they game more cash inthe long term.

Um, they need advertising, most people wouldn't even have played it cause it wasn't released commercially, also, most people don't review freeware, so it wouldn't be widely recognized, also they need to kick start their servers as I said before, read my posts through and through, I already told why they needed the money they needed.

Lots of magazines do review freeware games and certainly a lot reviewed A Tale in the Desert. Anyway, I'm not saying that it would be possible to do this, I'm just saying that it's one of those little things that irritates me.
