Well this one is really great...
But I fear that only german persons will get the joke behind it. And in addition to that there surely are a lot people who could recognise this as blasphemy. I will die laughing, though

Of Course...
In Germany 'Ratzefummel' is some kind of slang for 'eraser' or 'rubber'. And since our new pope's secular name is Joseph Ratzinger and the short form of his lastname in Germany is 'Ratze', it is quite funny to print him on a rubber in connection to 'Ratzefummel'. 'Fummeln' means 'to fumble': so there's another important link. So I would translate into 'Ratzefumble'. Sounds quite similar, huh?
Btw: The name 'Ratzefummel' is much older as Ratze officiates. Actually I believe he was already jollied by this joke when he went to school. It may be a groaner. But a nice and funny idea, though.

Blasphemy - No. Funny - a bit, actually.

The thing is, when I moved to Berlin and called erasers Ratzefummel, nobody had any idea what I was talking about. Apparently, Berlin is still 2,3 years behind the western evolution. Western German, that is.
