Yes, it doesn't make much sense, they re-did the Office and the Sketch Show as well... also I was reading in our TV Guide the other week that they will be re-doing Kath and Kim and Thank God You're Here, Thank God will probably do well for them but I don't think they'll like Kath and Kim at all.

And Coupling is a lot better than Friends.

I have absolutely NO idea how Kath and Kim could be "remade" for a foriegn audience. The whole premise around Kath and Kim is that they are a stereotype of quintessentialy Australian suburban character-types. The slang, the clothing, the way of life - even the netball. It would be a completely different thing if it was re-made, and as the re-makes have proven over and over again, it will suck.

So Australia gets the BE versions? I mean you're in da commonwealth.
I'm not quite sure what accent I like better - irish or australian.
