I have played this really much back in the old days and i still don't know the point of this game. After you wipe out the aliens (very easy with a bunch of Warships) it's really boring. I think you are supposed to try to raise the quality of life, but how!? If i remember correctly the best i got was nearly 70% and after that nothing else than a massive hungry because of the building limit (don't really remember how much, 250 or something). Can somebody tell me if it never ends?! :ranting:

It has an open end - so basically it can run forever, but you should get the quality of life up to 80% to get the first medal from Earth - that's really the key - the life quality. It's all in the manual too, but quite wage - sorry to say.

How the heck you can get it to 80?! You get something from the 70 also, there was some congratulations text. Can't remember what.

Also the spying stuff sucks very much. There's always a certain point where one spy gets captured and shortly the aliens attack, no matter how much you put money in spying (I've tried).

You hould build a solid base first. Once it gets too big you can't improve it any more, so first go for the quality, then for everything else. But this way you're more wounrable to an attack!
Giving money for spys is not enough. You spy network needs more then just money and the more you spy - the bigger the chances you'll be detected . And spying can cause wars...

Don't know really - I always went for the quality and spent money for improvemants - didn't really care about spys or the military - that's why I was always wiped out!
Check the manual!
