If that's for a tutorial, make some effort at commenting a lot, in order to help beginners! And I'm no C++ genius, but shouldn't you add some checks when dealing with files (such as write-persmissions, checking if the file exist etc.)?

Previous arguements or conflicts is petty and moronic, if you're going to be that immature then you definatly need to grow up yourself.

The tutorials are pretty nice Chicken, but as said before, there was a lack of comments.
Their importance is key, makes it easier to know where you are.
