I don't need DosBox, the Game works, all I need is THE MANUAL to FIND the CODE to start PLAYing!

This game brings back great, nostalgic memories of childhood. I am enjoying the second tour right now. I had kind of hard time getting it to run on dosbox, but eventually I got that figured out too, thanks to the help of all you posters here.

I ended up customizing my dosbox config file so that launching it puts me right into X-Wing, with the desired cycles and all that jazz.

I have infront of me a purple cd with Star wars Tie Fighter and then under blue background "Collectors Edition" Then it has "The complete Tie Fighter Collection"
Is this the same game as the one you have here? The reason I am asking is because there is nothing about it in the official site (lucasarts) and only mentioning of x-wing collectors edition. So....what is going on?

just what I sad I strat X-Wing and and minutes later dos box freaz nothing works so Imust clos DosBox!! I've reinstall it and X-Wing is the only one game which do this!!

by more info I was preffering to your computer specs and how do you run games.

Change cycles to high for this game. Or even better, run this game using VDMSOund.

Hi!

I've got a little problem::help:
I can handle the CD problem, but whenever I try to lauch the game using VDMS i get a message, that I didn't have enough memory. Using DOS-Box makes the game unplayable slow.
So, are there any special settings for VDMS? Or any other suggestion?
