I had a tree fall on me. But I was mostly out of the way and I could just duck a little more and get out. It had fallen on another tree and gave me enough time to get out of the way.

Getting whacked in the nuts with an unflanged metal mace. I did have a cup, but still. The plastic broke and imbedded the edges of it into the flesh of my legs.
In the moment before I collapsed, I wailed on his shoulder with mine, and he said his shoulder bone was broken and the shoulder knob or whatever was dislocated.
Strangely enough, I still participate in such events with armor and weapons.

Well compared to your eye injuries mine seems somewhat insignificant, but I developed a fear of dentists afterwards.

As a kid (that was still in the times of socialism where you didn't have private dental practices, but you were assigned to a dentist) I got an elderly woman for a dentist. The problem was her hands. They were shaking all the time - so she had to hold the drill with both hands in order to steady it.
I don't know what happened when she was drilling my tooth, but she had to screw up big time!
I was 11 and she started drilling one of my teeth. Obviously her hand sliped or something with her drill still on, because she injured my gums - that's right, she drilled for a second or so in the gums and not the teeth. It took quite a while to heal, but it's OK now. The pain was great, but not unbearable. The biggest effect was a phychological one - I'm still mortally terrified of dentists and I get a high fiever just by knowing I'll have to go for a check-up.

Sounds very much like my dad!

My worst pain when I was 8:
First skating lesson at lesson at Ice Rink.
Everything was ok until the end.
Gone to return to thick wood barrier.
Tried to dodge somebody.
Done some sort of weird slide thing and hit barrier.
Hit head.
When woke up, bones cut through skin and in several pieces.

WORSE STILL TO COME.

Hospital said I was going to need pins in legs.
Bone specialist cleared up and put temporary cast on for weekend.
That night, cast splits open.
I fall out of bed in agony and cause even more damage.
Rushed to hospital. Healed in agonising 5 months.

Total breaks in Left Leg: 6
Total breaks in Right Leg: 5

Believe it or not it's very easy to break your bones in a stupid manner.
Not only that, that's not even that many bones, considering how many you have in your body.

Hmm... (has anyone noticed how often I use "hmm..." in posts ?) My worse pain was when I got stinged by a bee in my neck while I was at the market. I screamed so loud that everybody started looking at me like I was a celebrity or something. Of course that there were those times with the dentist and with the dog, but those are other stories.

Should I open a topic named "The most humiliating thing you ever did" ? I could write many things in it.

Believe it or not it's very easy to break your bones in a stupid manner.

Oh, I know it's easy. But that's eleven breaks! Injuries like that usually require high speeds, heavy objects, or some combination of the two.
