I had an idea for my custom title but forgot it. Maybe I should start a poll...

Would it be possible that every member with at least 100 posts or three months of forum membership can set his custom title by itself? Then you would have less work with us title hungry people. Or would they change to rapidly?

Technicaly possible, but requires creating a new user group and some messing around with its permission masks. Since on the new forum, rank name and title are integrated together, and only admins can insert HTML tags - and therefore images - into them, it would also conflict with the userbars.

Too late!

Users with 100+ posts or 90 days of membership can now set a custom title up to 25 characters long. Anything above that count, images or HTML code must still be done by an admin.

Luchsen: Go to your forum control panel (NOT your site control panel) by jumping from one of these topics. There you will find the new option.

Edit: I suggest to change requirements: 100 posts AND three months of forum membership (or only 100 posts)
We don't want to see Zero posters or bots with a title.
