One more issue I just found out. Someone keeps connecting to my router around here. How can I boot them off? I see their computer in the "workplace" under network connections. How do I kick them out?

make sure your network accept only your PC's
network card have a number that is unique (the MAC adress) just configure you access point so it refuses any conexion using unknow MAC address. |

Doesn't your router have WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy)? It is some kind of security protocol for wireless networks.
If your router has it, activate it... You will need to enter a password for the encryption at the router and the same password in all the computers you want to be in your network. |
