I suppose my main question is why do the other games on the CD -- "Red Baron" & "Aces Of The Pacific" -- work flawlessly in XP
but the one game I bought the CD for -- Aces Over Europe" -- doesn't ?[/b]
Nobody said they were all programmed the exact same way. And every XP-equipped computer seems to have its own compatibility quirks too.

Hoi guys,

I've got a little problem here. When I installed the game everything worked fine. However my arrow keys have stopped responding and my logitech dual action USB joystick is pulling to the left all the time. Does anyone know how I can completely reset the in-flight controls to their default settings?

Sorry sorry for the mixup !
Done & done !

By the way, I'd be willing to pay someone to iron out that "Integer Bug" thingie to make it compatible with XP.
What'd be a fair price to pay for that ?

That error message is only one of the symptoms, while the actual cause may go far deeper into the program code.

Unfortunately, only people who could fix that are those who programmed Aces Over Europe to start with - if any one of them still has the sourcecode.

Oh man ....
Man that hurts ....
I'm a huge fan of the flatshade polygonal asthetic & The only other World War II flightsimualtor like that takes place in the Pacific Theater --
Eric Parker's masterpiece "Hellcats Over The Pacific" for the Macintosh.
That's why I'm so looking forward to flying "Aces Over Europe".
And there's the Damon Slye pedigree !

If you have any problems getting the game to work properly in DosBox, post about them either in this thread or in the Troubleshooting forum.
I'll help you as much as I can.

hello all, just wanted to pop in and say thank you for uplaoding this. I saw the box art update for this game and remembered that my copy of the game had different box art on the front. I believe it showed either a Tempest or a Typhoon chasing after an Me-262 over a bridge with stone towers at either end. I have the box cover laying around here somewhere and if I ever find it I'll scan it and send it to you guys.

And I've also included the video available for downloading playable in the "VLC Player".

Enjoy !

Do anyone know if he source code was released?

AoE and EoP are games worth recompiling to win32 and try to raise its resolution. It should not be that hard...

Also, is there any remake from them?
