Reading other peoples posts reminds me of two other foods I can't stand
Brussel Sprouts and Sauerkraut. I don't like the taste or smell of either so I can't even stand usually sitting next to a serving bowl full of it. I might find a way that I like it if I get around the smell. But still have to keep my foot down for the liver. |

Dutch cooking mushy... first time I've heard that. It's probably an excuse from somebody who doesn't know how to cook. I do have to agree that Brussel sprouts, when cooked for too long, aren't really enjoyable, but they still go down easily. Just a shame melting butter on top of it's no good anymore.

What is a subway sandwich anyway? Mc D's reminds me: their hamburgers are really bad indeed. Especially if they keep them too long in warm-keeping. I've never eaten Mc D's anymore for years now.
Kon Tiki: it's indicative of Dutch cuisine that you won't find any Dutch cuisine restaurant outside of The Netherlands. |
