I found a great remake of the old "Marble Madness" game, only in decent quality 3D! It's pretty hard but also pretty addictive when you get the hang of it!

there's a similar(ish) mod for UT2004 about (can't remember then name though...) involving controlling a ball with various physics properties at different times, and collecting things, getting through traps, or racing round a track. it's pretty good.

(Space Sim) The most open-ended game I've ever played. Explore the universe, discover new worlds, name planets and stars... Highly recommended! k: |

How about kingdom of loathing? not sure if it counts as it's a browser game but it's definitely high quality in my opinion.

Hey, isn't there a monster summoning freeware game somewhere? Vantage Online or something? I have heard of it, but I have no idea where to get it.
