Default Game Trouble

I know I should probably post this in the troubleshooting section, but I seem to find I get a quicker response when I post it under the game discussion, :P . Anywho, robin's head keeps moving back and forth like he's in a seizure. Second, whenever I go to the save screen, the game freezes on me, if anyone could help that'd be great!

Same problems as above. D-Fend helps with the Head thing and gives it the sound back, but trying to save causes the application to crash

The head moving thing was something that affects all sierra games from that era. It was caused by the way the game measures the clock speed or something. More info (well quite alot of info actually) is found here: http://www.spacequest.net/misc/timerissues/index.shtml

When I played this game ages ago I downloaded part of the manual from somewhere. I uploaded it to my site, and you can get it here: users.tpg.com/lukinso/Conquest of the Longbow - Manual stuff.pdf
Feel free to put it on this site, cos it's not really mine.

I've got the game running fine, but has anybody else had trouble with the part where you have to wait by the oak tree for Mr. Green, (or something like that) to arrive? I know that you're supposed to capture a pixie, but they never show? what's up?

Are you waiting by the tree? Because they don't come there, you have to go out into the forest (one of the screens where there is just a forest clearing), if you wait for a while there then one should show.

I hate the pixie! I hate him! So, now that I finally got him to show up, (thanks!), catching him is literally impossible! The net will never fall in the right place. I've been literally been at it for two days. I think it might be my touch pad mouse. How has every one else managed this?

I use a mousepad too

The trick is to throw the net just in front of him. And there is no trick what so ever involved in finding the pixie. Just go into the forrest and wait. He will appear after a little while, and if you miss... just wait a little longer. He always shows up.
