Make your own of course or edit it - a cue file is just a text file which points to the BIN - hell, I'm not even sure if you need a CUE file anymore for Daemon Tools. As long as the game doesn't have audio music, there's no problem.

Just edit the cue file with notepad and remove the path from first line:
before: FILE "C:\TEMP\DEATH_GATE.BIN" BINARY
after: FILE "DEATH_GATE.BIN" BINARY
Save it and you're done!

I love this game I saw on youtube walk thru of course. but I cannot get it install in window xp . I download from this great website abandonia. I unzip all the files except when I look for exe files is not there? please help? I try install inside the folder and all it does is give me that d drive is cd rom. I need to know how to change c: to d: please please I read all the comments on the forum and still having problem.

You probably have to install through DOSbox, it was not designed for windows.

Thanks! I had renamed the .bin file and couldn't get it to mount in DOSbox. I altered the .cue so it was pointing to the new .bin file name, and now it works like a charm!
