I finished the game with both factions Danny. If you need a few pointers just ask me.

If I ever find my old published review of Outpost 1, I'll post it here, just for a laugh. I gave it a detailed pan. Outpost 2 was neither bad nor good, IMO. Done by an entirely different team, it was a competent but extremely unimaginative RTS. Nobody panned it, but nobody got excited about it, either. I remember the game's producer calling my editor to complain about my review, and being told, in essence, where he could put it.

One oddly funny note: Sierra sent as part of their press packet in advance of release, a black Outpost 1 t-shirt with the Mendelyeevian chart of elements on the front. We still have that. My wife uses it while engaged in hardware work.

Yes, as I mentioned, my wife uses it while doing woodworking. It's kind of a "get dirty in" t-shirt. And that's about the best fate for anything ever associated with the original Outpost.

Hello everybody,

well, i am looking for the space-simulation 'Outpost' - not to confuse with 'Outpost Kaloki'!!
I was one of the fewest which have played it and now i look for it.

Anybody can help me?

Hallo zusammen,

Reemoun

As it is from 1994 and Sierra we won't host it because of the 15 years rule.

Buying it would be almost impossible anyway, I think.
