I forgot something: How can I select a CPU-Player? I go to Settings -> Players and both are Humans and I'M not able to change one of them

To play single player you have to change the starting codeword (FIRST) to the single player code (CONRA)
(or CLOCK -> BLOCK for the addon)

Hmm....I haven't played the game yet, but it seems to remind me of Advance Wars 1 and 2 for Gameboy Advance (a turn based action strategy which could include factories, capturing structures, unit building (but not structure building) and fog of war)

It looks like "History Line 1914-1918", my favorite game! Is it from the same developer?

I recently dled the game from your sits, but cant seem to find start.txt The game loads up to the title screen and just sits there. I used to play this game all the time when I was younger, and would really love to be able to play again. please help me...

Does someone know, how to attack with the 'Heavy Artillery' unit ? I can't manage to fire, but with all the other units that's no problem.

Try Adobe Reader 6 instead. AR 5 is a fair bit outdated.
