oh crap. now i got another problem. i cant get the audio for the voices to work now. iv tried vdm, and scummvm wont work cus it says that theres no game in my directory, which there is.

First: Scummvm is pretty much an all LucasArt thing, so Alien Virus is not supported.
Now: Did you have sound at all at any stage? Try different settings in Soundsetup, most notably the IRQ setting. |

yes, i did have the music and sound effects. but not the voices. if i change the irqs and channels and stuff (all 3 options of soundblasters work) i dont get any audio at all.
