So, I just discovered that my processor is x64, but my Windows is normal PRO XP x32 (AMD 64bit Sempron 3000+). Should I get aMicrosoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition? Would there be any benefits?
Edit: and what does Windows Vista Hardware Ready mean? I've got it on the box. |

The difference would be something like between Win3.1 and Win95 in terms of performance (3.1 = 16-bit; 95 = 32-bit). Windows Vista Hardware Ready means only that your machine falls within minimum hardware requirements for Vista. |

Is it true that some games do not support Windows XP Professional x64 ?

I remember there were such issues, especially with games copy-protected with StarForce.

Just google "xp 64 vs 32" and you'll see what I'm talking about. |
