Default System Shock 2 [STEAM, GOG]

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could have System Shock 2 on the site.

It's a fantastic horror/RPG first person game. I have the DL from HoTU, but at 148 megs (It's a zip with a lot of RARs in it) I was wondering whether it is too big or not. The RARs self-decompress, by the way, just to get that clear.

Please reply.

unless you can somehow compress them better, then a definite no but i think that it would be a good addition to the site if it definetley is abandoned and you can shrink it somehow

I have no idea how to compress it more without WinRAR which a lot of people don't have.

I am also unsure of its abandoned status, HoTU can be a bit risky on things like that.

It comes with sounds but I don't think it comes with music. The sounds are excellent and pretty vital to the game's horrifying effect, so I don't think that they should taken out.

So no go.

Nope, HotU's version does come with music. It's just that music isn't ALWAYSplaying, only during key points, and only background hard-techno or something.

Oh... I guess you could probably get it down to about 100 mb then, if you really tried. I'm no good at this kind of thing, I play games, I don't do anything useful with them.
