Well, I don't exactly have problems. All I do, is shut down and start up the computer again, instead of just restarting.
But I like to learn, and this is one of the limitations of DOS hardware compatibility I've not seen before. And I was wondering what caused it. btw, we use the same system for playing games in dos mode. As far as I remember, win98 uses dos 7.1 as well (or is it only ME?). But I have nothing to use win98 for, so I've simply installed dos 7.1 alone. |

Maybe I didn't make myself clear earlier, but that was what I realised.
I was afraid I needed a driver, but since sbinit only needs to be run once, and not stored in memory, that is an acceptable sollution. ... I still havn't found out what it is Windoose exactly is doing to my sound card, though edit: Oh, and I didn't even get a chance to say thanks. Amasingly quick answers k: |
