we had serious winds here... rooftops flew, sand and small rocks turned to projectiles, old ladies were flying around with their bags and so on

Was almost as strong here (not on the other side of the sky, though :P), interestingly, but pair of days ago. Now the day is sunny and it's even warm outside. But that's nothing new anymore today, and I'm not looking forward to the coming summer...

Today I saw the first traces of a blue sky in ages. God knows we could use that now. Maybe it will stay that way long enough for me to get out of the house for a while. Now that wouldn't be a bad thing
