This used to boggle my mind when I was younger and it still does now I suppose. Why could you press cancel on the passport menu at the start of a windows login? I never undersood it :w00t: |

They wanted the 'multiple profiles' but didn't really implement it If your PC is in a domain however, you won't get a network connection if you cancel...

I think its more you can have personal accounts or the default one, and the default one is sorta like a public one, whereas you need passwords to see the specific user's file.
If you get my meaning.

that's why you can make it that all users have same profile in which case you don't get the annoying screen on your computer.

if you hit ok (even without a passwd) it will remember your dailup passwd.
if you hit cancel it won't
